Annette Pedde

Trained at the Ashtanga Yoga Institute, Annette Pedde transmits a practice founded on direct experience, regularity and the gradual discovery of oneself through yoga.

A path of practice and transmission

Like many practitioners, Annette did not discover yoga through an early vocation or a particular spiritual path.

It was gradually, over the course of her personal journey, that she encountered this practice, which would take an increasingly important place in her life.

At first, yoga represented a space of breathing and balance in a daily life often marked by outside demands.

Over the years, it became much more: a tool of observation, a discipline of life and a true path of self-knowledge.

Driven by the desire to deepen her understanding of this tradition, Annette joined the teacher training of the Ashtanga Yoga Institute.

This training allowed her to develop her practice, her understanding of the method and her ability to transmit the teaching received.

Today, she continues this path with the same curiosity, the same rigour and the same commitment that have accompanied her since her first steps in yoga.

A way of teaching

Annette’s teaching is deeply nourished by her own journey as a practitioner.

Having herself gone through the different stages of learning, she pays particular attention to the doubts, questions and discoveries that often accompany the first years of practice.

She accompanies students with simplicity and kindness, respecting each person’s own pace.

Her teaching rests on a simple conviction: transformation is born from regular practice, observation and lived experience.

More than a search for performance, yoga then becomes a space of listening, presence and gradual self-discovery.

What yoga has taught her

Over the years, yoga has allowed Annette to develop a more attentive relationship with herself and the world around her.

The practice has gradually revealed to her that the deepest transformations are not born from a search for immediate results but from a regular presence to oneself.

Her journey has taught her that yoga is above all a lived experience.

An experience that cannot be understood only through books or concepts, but that is built day after day through breath, movement, observation and practice.

This understanding still inspires her way of teaching and accompanying students today.

A reflection on the experience of yoga

At the end of her training at the Ashtanga Yoga Institute, Annette devoted her final dissertation to the place of lived experience in the practitioner’s journey.

Through this work, she explores the way yoga gradually invites us to develop a more intimate knowledge of ourselves, not through the accumulation of knowledge but through the direct observation of our experience.

This reflection deeply reflects her way of approaching yoga today: with presence, curiosity and openness.
