according to Yoga Korunta  (Ashtanga Yoga transmitted by K. Pattabhi Jois), it’s the name of the third series. Sthira Bhaga, means : “Sthira” strength, strong, stable, immobile, stable, consistence and “Bhaga” is the God responsible for the fair distribution of wealth, power and strength, but he is blind… this means that when the energy, the strength is correctly directed and used, it will lead to the inner wealth, peace, hence the translation as sublime serenity, divine stability, the Strenght of Peace, etc.
