Ingredients :
- 1 glass of rice
- 1 ½ glass of water
- 1/3 to ½ of a coconut, cut into small cubes
- Dal
- Blackgram
- 1 onion
- Curry leaves
- Mustard seeds
- 2 dried chillies (red)
Preparation :
- Put rice and water in pressure saucepan, heat, stop at the first whistle, let cool.
- Grind coconut in a blender, adding a little water to have an almost liquid consistency.
- Heat oil in frying pan and add in order :
- Mustard seeds
- Mustard leaves
- Dal + blackgram
- Onion
- 2 opened chillies
- Blended coconut
4. Add the cooked rice to mixture
5. Salt
