André Van Lysebeth was a staunch Haṭha Yogi “(…) Hatha Yoga is not a minor yoga form; Yoga is a complete, an Integral Yoga. (…) It is the yoga of the entire human person, the body and spirit forming an inseparable entity. (…) The Hatha Yogi knows that behind the postures, there is the breath, and behind the breath, there is the Pr?na and mind, and finally behind it the Spectator. (…) If one day I deserve to be called Hatha Yogi, I won”t find myself offended, nor diminished, but on the contrary, accomplished”.

André Van Lysebeth, has made two extended visits to Mysore with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.

Willy Van Lysebeth who follows in the footsteps of his father and continues the teaching and transmission of Yoga now uses also the denomination Integral Yoga.
