Joining the training

Joining the training does not start with paperwork: it starts with a meeting. Before any enrolment, we take the time for a preliminary conversation — a simple exchange about your practice, your intention and your questions. This page explains how it works, and lets you take the first step.

How it works

Four steps, with no hard sell. The Institute does not seek to convince: it seeks to make a living transmission accessible to those who wish to meet it.

1. Come and practise

One or two intensive mornings, Saturday or Sunday from 9am to 12pm, open to everyone. No formality: you come, you practise, we meet.

2. The preliminary conversation

You write to us using the form at the bottom of this page. We reply by e-mail, then we agree on a time to talk — here after a morning practice, or by phone.

3. The enrolment form

After the conversation: enrolment form and a deposit of half the annual cost by bank transfer, the balance before the start of the year.

4. The start of the year

The first weekend of the intake takes place in Uccle. The three-year path begins.

Before writing, two things to check

The prerequisites fit in two sentences: practising Ashtanga Yoga for at least two years — here or elsewhere — and coming with a sincere intention. You do not have to want to teach: the course is open to anyone wishing to deepen their personal journey.

If you are still hesitating, the training overview page and its FAQ answer the questions that come up most often.

Request a preliminary conversation

A few lines are enough. We reply by e-mail, then we agree on a time to talk — here after a morning practice, or by phone.
