Archetype

(derived from the Greek arkhetupon meaning “primitive model” ). The archetype is a concept created by Carl Gustav Jung, it is a mental processes at the base of human cultures. Archetypes appear in myths and dreams as universal symbols or as a person who serves as an ideal model to a group. This ideal image that we forge is the result of our subconscious. The archetypes are both elements of our instinctive life and the nourishing power of our spiritual life.
