{"id":1012,"date":"2014-12-28T07:08:01","date_gmt":"2014-12-28T06:08:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yoga-ashtanga.net\/en\/?p=1012"},"modified":"2016-03-02T14:50:14","modified_gmt":"2016-03-02T13:50:14","slug":"mediterranean-chick-peas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yoga-ashtanga.net\/en\/mediterranean-chick-peas\/","title":{"rendered":"Mediterranean chick peas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>225 gr chick peas soaked<\/li>\n<li>2 red peppers, chopped in cubes<\/li>\n<li>3 table spoons olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 green pepper, chopped in cubes<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of ground coriander<\/li>\n<li>450 gr tomatoes chopped in cubes<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of ground ginger<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of grated nutmeg<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place the pre-soaked chick peas in a pan and cover with fresh water. Add 1 tablespoon of the olive oil and some salt. Bring to the boil, half cover and simmer for about 1 hour until tender. Drain and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Heat the remaining oil in a heavy frying pan. Add the spices, peppers and tomatoes and saut\u00e9 until the vegetables are tender. Add the chick peas, mix well and cook together for about 5 minutes.
